Nicole started her career in 2014, working in the customer service industry at Books Kinokuniya Singapore. After a year as Retail Executive, she was promoted to Section Chief of the Children’s Department, working closely with the manager for administrative duties while leading the team on the sales floor to help customers. In addition to training new additions to the department, she was part of the original team that opened the new store at Ngee Ann City in 2015. The daily interaction with customers and buyers has equipped her with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, that would be vital as she moves onto Mapped SG.
After completing her International Baccalaureate Diploma in West Vancouver Secondary School, Canada, Nicole completed her honours degree in Biochemistry at the University of Reading, United Kingdom. Her interest in learning foreign languages and cultures has led to her living in Tokyo to learn Japanese, and Seoul to learn Korean, in addition to working in a veterinarian laboratory in Spain. After a long day, she plays the violin, piano and guitar to relax and unwind. Squash is her favourite sport, having played for the University team, and to mix things up, she spends her remaining time ice skating, dancing and jogging.
